Description: To lightly toast sesame seeds, spread them out in a pan and bake them in a toaster oven at 350 degrees, or toast them in a large skillet over medium low heat. With either method, stir them from time to time so they toast evenly, and watch them carefully. They should be pale golden brown, which takes only about 5 minutes. Note that the dough is rolled more thinly than usual and baked at a higher temperature to ensure thin, crisp cookies.
