Confetti Sugar Cookies

- Sugar Cookies
- 4 tablespoons Sprinkles
Roll out the dough to 1/4 inch width. Our Perfect Cookie Rolling Pin takes the guesswork out of this step--its fixed depth handle results in perfectly 1/4 inch cookies every time for even baking.
Distribute sprinkles across the dough. You can use any type of sprinkles, but we recommend the longer jimmies or shapes--not nonpareils.
Roll the dough a couple of times, just to compress the sprinkles into the dough.
Cut out your cookie shapes, and re-roll your dough out as needed.

Cook Time: 10 minutes.
Total Time: 30 minutes.
Directions:
Cream together:
Butter and Sugar
Beat in:
egg
Add:
Vanilla
Salt
Sifted Flour
Mix until all ingredients are well blended.
Chill dough 3-4 hours before rolling, so the dough is easy to roll, and won't spread during baking.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll out on a lightly floured counter to 1/4" thick and cut with your favorite Ann Clark cookie cutters, then transfer cookies onto cookie sheets that have been lined with parchment paper or silicone liners. Bake about 8-10 minutes or until lightly colored. Let cookies cool slightly on cookie sheet, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Decorate with Royal Icing (from our recipes) or buttercream, or eat plain.
Enjoy!
